Welcome to Resumelyn. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Resumelyn website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Account and Talent Pool

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information. By creating a Resumelyn account, you understand and agree that participation in the Resumelyn Talent Pool is part of the core service. Your professional profile and relevant CV information may be made available to recruiters through the Resumelyn Talent Pool. Recruiters may search and filter candidate profiles based on professional information such as experience, skills, roles, languages, location, and other relevant profile information.

3. Resumelyn Pro

Resumelyn offers a premium subscription called Resumelyn Pro for €24.99/month. Pro features include AI CV analysis and optimization, tailored CVs for specific jobs, cover letter generation, professional templates, application tracking, advanced analytics, priority visibility in the Resumelyn Talent Pool, Resumelyn Verification, and LinkedIn Outreach.

4. Internal AI Usage System

AI-powered features are subject to reasonable usage limits to ensure service stability. Each account receives an internal allowance of 200 AI credits per month. These credits are internal usage units used solely to manage AI consumption. They are not currency, have no monetary value, are not transferable, cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, do not roll over, reset according to your monthly usage cycle, and may not be manipulated or abused.

5. Subscription Cancellation and Withdrawal

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings (Settings → Profile). Cancellation normally prevents future renewal, but does not automatically mean a refund for already-used subscription time.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have statutory withdrawal rights (e.g., a 14-day cooling-off period). Please see our Refund Policy for full details on how to exercise these statutory rights, as well as the effects of requesting immediate performance of digital services.

6. Resumelyn Pro Interview Guarantee

As a voluntary commercial guarantee, in addition to your statutory consumer rights, we offer the Resumelyn Pro Interview Guarantee. A qualifying Resumelyn Pro subscriber who does not receive at least one genuine interview invitation during the 14-day guarantee period may request a refund under these conditions:

• Guarantee Period: 14 consecutive calendar days beginning on the date the qualifying Resumelyn Pro subscription starts.
• Activity Requirement: You must submit at least 15 relevant job applications per day for 14 consecutive calendar days (minimum 210 relevant applications total).
• Tracking: Every application must be tracked through Resumelyn's Application Tracker and recorded in Resumelyn Analytics.
• Relevance: A "Relevant Application" means an application for a genuine job opportunity that reasonably corresponds to your target role, professional experience, qualifications, skills, languages, location preferences, or stated career objectives.
• Pro Status & Usage: You must maintain an active qualifying Pro subscription and meaningfully use applicable Resumelyn Pro functionality during the guarantee period.
• No Interviews: You must receive NO qualifying interview invitation during the guarantee period. An "Interview Invitation" is a genuine invitation from an employer, recruiter, or hiring manager to participate in an interview. Automated confirmations or rejections do not count.
• Claim Period: You must submit the guarantee claim within 7 calendar days after completing the 14-day guarantee period.

Verification of Interview Guarantee Eligibility

Resumelyn may verify your eligibility using available account, tracker, analytics, subscription, and product usage data. We may request reasonable supporting evidence. Exclusions apply for duplicate, spam, irrelevant, fabricated, backdated, or fraudulent applications, or if you manipulate Resumelyn Analytics. If required activity cannot be verified through Resumelyn's records, that activity may not qualify.

No Employment Promise: The Interview Guarantee does not guarantee employment, an offer, a salary, recruiter response, or a specific career outcome. It is a commercial refund guarantee subject to objective eligibility requirements.

7. Resumelyn Verification

Resumelyn Verification is a professional verification status granted by Resumelyn after review. It is NOT an official LinkedIn verification, government certification, or a guarantee of employment. Recruiters may use Resumelyn Verification as a filter when searching for candidates.

8. AI Features and ATS

Resumelyn uses AI to help you improve your CV, tailor applications, generate cover letters, and conduct outreach. The platform may provide a 'CV Score' reflecting AI-driven quality recommendations. This score is an internal quality indicator and is not an ATS score, nor does it guarantee that you will pass any employer's applicant tracking system or secure an interview. AI output may contain errors, and you must review generated content before using it. You remain fully responsible for the accuracy of your applications and CV.

Resumelyn designs CVs to use clean, machine-readable structures generally suitable for applicant tracking systems. However, we do not guarantee acceptance by any specific ATS (such as Workday, Greenhouse, etc.), nor do we guarantee employment, interview success, or recruiter response.

9. User Content and Acceptable Use

You retain ownership of your uploaded content (e.g., your CV). You grant Resumelyn the licenses and permissions reasonably necessary to provide the service, including generating AI outputs, tailoring applications, and displaying your profile in the Talent Pool.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any documents. You must not:

• Submit fraudulent applications or impersonate others.
• Upload another person's confidential documents without authorization.
• Manipulate the application tracker, analytics, or guarantee eligibility.
• Attempt to circumvent AI usage limits.
• Scrape or extract data without authorization.
• Reverse engineer the platform (where prohibited by law) or engage in unlawful activity.

10. Account Suspension

Resumelyn may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, security threats, manipulation of the service, payment abuse, guarantee manipulation, or repeated violations of these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Resumelyn shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, your job search outcomes, or AI-generated content. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded (including mandatory consumer rights).

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence dictate otherwise.
